What is your return policy?

Your satisfactions with your purchase and experience is of the utmost importance. Please don't hesitate to contact with questions or concerns and we will work to find a solution to the situation. We don’t accept exchanges or cancellations but please contact us if you have any problems with your order. Please make sure to read product descriptions, dimensions and shipping policies carefully before completing your purchase. 


Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, we can't accept returns or exchanges for custom or personalised orders.



DEFECTS

Please note that each quilt is hand crafted so there may be small irregularities that add to it’s handmade charm. If there is a larger noticeable fault please get in touch.


In the unlikely event that you receive a defective or damaged quilt a refund may be possible. Please contact atlanticquiltingco@gmail.com within 2 days of receiving your purchase with images and a descriptions of the damage. Before a refund is possible, the defective product must be returned in it's original condition and packaging. Shipping expenses are the responsibility of the customer.


Colour variation will not be considered an acceptable description as a defective/damaged refund or exchange. Great care is taken to accurately describe the work and colour variations may occur because of differences in monitor settings. 

How do I clean the wall hanging?

Remove the quilt from the wall and while outdoors, gently shake or brush to release any dust particles. Alternatively, lay quilt down on a clean, flat surface and lightly roll a lint roller over the surface.

Can I machine wash the quilt?

Machine wash cool using mild, liquid Laundry Detergent. Do not bleach. Do not tumble dry. Iron on low heat if desired.

Can I have different colours or sizes?

Ella will work with the customer to create a piece that you love based on colours, style and design. Every hanging is handmade, packaged and shipped by Ella, so your patience is appreciated. While working quickly, top quality craftmanship is never rushed.

How does pricing work?

Each handmade product on our site is priced individually based on size, materials and detail of design.

All wall quilts are backed with fabric sleeves into which dowels can be inserted to allow quilts to be hung. A metal dowel and picture hook can be included in the order for an additional cost of £15. This price covers materials and extra postage costs.


Commissioned and customised work is priced individually based on the size and style of the piece. Dimensions can be customised as well as colours and design. To discuss a custom piece, please email atlanticquiltingco@gmail.com

How do I hang the quilt?

We provide hanging instructions with each piece that is shipped. All wall quilts are backed with fabric sleeves into which dowels can be inserted to allow quilts to be hung. A metal dowel and picture hook can be included in the order for an additional cost of £15. This price covers materials and extra postage costs.


All wall quilts should be backed with metal or wooden dowels for quilts to hold their structure once hung. To hang:

1. Mark point on wall at desired height - point will line up with the centre of the quilt

2. Carefully hammer suitable nail or hook at mark

3. Ensure metal dowel will sit on the nail/hook

4. Slide the dowel into the sleeve on the back of the quilt

5. Hang the quilt on the wall. Adjust balance as necessary until straight
