About Atlantic Quilting Co

Our Story

As a self-taught quilter, Ella wanted to create an alternative to canvas art for her home. By using natural textiles and abstract designs, Ella creates a wall hanging and deepens the texture by quilting the layers together in a way that enhances the design. The result is a unique wall hanging that adds interest and originality to any space.

In 2014, Ella made her first quilt and received an overwhelming response. The colourful queen size quilt was an overnight motivator to begin offering custom quilts to friends and family. She began experimenting with modern designs and quilting techniques whilst working a 9-5 job in London.

Years later, after moving to Cornwall, Ella decided to start Atlantic Quilting Co and show people that quilts don’t have to be old-fashioned and unstylish.
